As our network is still currently being built, installations are a little more involved than your typical cable or DSL installation.
Step 1. Pole to Premises
We will need to run a "drop", a connection from the service pole on the street to your house. This process will take approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on our workload. This part of the process does not require you to be present.
Step 2. Inside Installation
Once the exterior service drop to your house is completed, a SecureNet rep will contact you to schedule the interior installation. In this part of the process, our network technicians will bring the fiber connection into the home and set up the router. This will include setting up of the Wi-Fi and/or TV service. This will be a shorter step, but someone will need to be home.
The technician will only install what is required to run the fiber into your home, any additional cabling or requests will be quoted as an additional cost, and must be approved by our office.
